As a young dancer, I’ve always been searching for clothes that make me want to dance the moment I put them on. The fabric needs to be soft and skin-hugging, creating ripples as I move. These clothes will take up two-thirds of my day, so they must be comfortable and textured in design—not just for wearing in the rehearsal studio, but also for casual, relaxing moments in daily life.
 

That’s why I designed the - VANGUARD BODY - Dance Collection. We carefully select soft materials, and I personally design and try on every piece. Unlimited comfort is our requirement for it; fine texture is our attitude toward it.The Dance Collection lets you dance wholeheartedly, unreservedly, and relaxedly, anytime and anywhere. Dance with the trust of a child, the depth of an elder, and the clarity that is uniquely you.

Under the concept of Body Connection, - VANGUARD BODY - will unfold three collections: Dance / Life / Style. The dance company’s independent clothing brand ties these three vital directions together through the body. We first launched the Dance Collection in the fall of 2019, with Softness, Breathing, and Skin Affinity as its core themes. When the body moves, the fabric of the clothes sways in rhythm with the body’s breath; the soft texture helps the body feel more relaxed. Skin affinity makes the clothes thin, breathable, and quick-drying—qualities that let the pieces transition seamlessly from the rehearsal studio to outdoor daily life. They are soft, comfortable, simple, and textured.
