Entropy is a concept in physics referring to the degree of disorder within a system. The natural tendency of all things is an entropy-increasing process—meaning they always evolve from a state of order to one of disorder. To counteract entropy increase, humans continuously establish and maintain order through various means in different scenarios, ensuring the system operates in a relatively orderly manner.

The dance piece Body draws on the concept of entropy. It treats dancers’ bodies as physical materials and adopts an order model based on this concept to simulate the dynamic processes of entropy decrease and entropy increase. Through the movement models of the dancers, the piece reveals the establishment and transformation of order in various relational scenarios, while also exploring the relationship between human behavior and will when "the self resides within the body".
